LARA

It’s magical. I’ve been here for almost 2 months and have experienced things i wouldn’t in Switzerland in a lifetime. It’s hard to explain. I guess you have to see it, feel it to know what i am talking about. I dont even know where to start..

When Kenyans sing they do it with pride, sing powerful and loud side by side, they shake their bodies, boobies and butts, they have the guts, they don’t care nuts.

Kenyans know the importance of food, they gather together the whole neighborhood, they drink and talk, laugh and eat, for hours nobody leaves the seat.

Time is definitely not a Kenyan invention, nobody really pays attention, school can start an hour to late, you can wait 2 hours for your mate, news sometimes run after hour, in public transportation you can get sour! But never mind, therefore you learn, patience helps you in every concern.

Kenyans have the glorious gift, they can drift right from their room into the wild nature gloom. Instead of shitty highway fences, you can see zebras spying into your lenses. You have giraffes leaning in your car, ist das nicht wunderbar!

Kenyans work often and hard not only in the own backyard. They use their hands, their phisical power, even if it is for the shower! I learned to wash, to cook and to clean, without using any machine. It reminds you of how simple people still live and this without any trace of grieve.

I guess i have never been in a country before, where people talk to each other more. Everybody has something to tell or something to sell. If you want to be alone you’re at the wrong place, communication makes the race.

I’ve also found Kenya suitable for me, they don’t see my enemy. My chaotic character goes totally under, no laughing thunder because people don’t wonder, everybody here is a bit like me, they are all a bit crazy and sometimes lazy, it is the absolute perfect match – a bunch of lost tollpätsch!

There is so much to learn from every single soul, they have so much rock’n’roll, they’re so full of energy, passion and heart, they are smart and their lives hard. It is simple, without traveling far, but with corruption and political war, with only 50 years of independence, and a president with a criminal sentence. But there have been so many changes, it outranges the bad, the mad and the sad. People are proud of Kenya and i am happy to have landed “da”!

The Kenyan experience is like having good Sex. First you slowly touch all the different parts of the stranger, as soon as you know each other better you go deeper, you unveil the beauty and want to slide deep into it. As soon as you risk the step and let it all happen, let the control go and let the sorrows disappear, you can feel the explosion of feelings, the orgasm of the organism.
